Paints and Brushes required: We supply all canvas paper for beginners, but students are responsible to buy canvases as they progress.
Brushes Needed:
A long handle bristle fan brush
A large bristle flat brush
A long handle bristle filbert brush (preferably sizes 2, 4, and 10)
A short handle round brush
An oval mop brush

- A passport is required. If you do not have one, you will need to apply for one within the first two weeks of classes. This applies even to sessions where we do not leave the country.
- A laptop or device and access to the internet will be needed for the class Discord server, research, and homework completion. A notebook will suffice during class hours.

Students are required to supply their own color pencils.
Prismacolor Premiere pencils are the best to use for their waxy base quality. It is easier to blend and build color with Prismacolor pencils.
A basic set of 24 would be good enough for beginning students.

Color Theory allows for your choice of medium, so you will need to provide whatever supplies needed beyond pencil and paper.

Printing cost for the final project will be the responsibility of the student and can range fro $10 - $25 per print.

IMPORTANT - Artist Loft is not a viable brand for watercolor supplies.
We recommend Winsor Newton Cotman, Grumbacher, and Royal Langnickel.
- 1 round watercolor brush size "12 (wash and flat brushes are optional)
- 140 lbs watercolor paper
- 1 tube of Alizarin/Crimson Red, Lemon Yellow or Cadmium Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, & Black (purple and white are optional).
- 1 wash cloth
- A large clipboard/any board for art
- Masking tape
- 1 mason jar
- 1 white plate/palette
