When are scholarship applications due?

Applications for the Fall Session are due by August 15th (awards given by September 1st), applications for the Spring Session are due by January 15th (awards given by February 1st).

Do scholarships cover ALL costs?

Scholarships offered by AFAN have a wide range of coverage. All scholarship levels will still require the initial Registration Fee.

Where does scholarship money come from?

Scholarships are made possible through our fundraising efforts and direct donations of individuals and organizations.

Who is eligible for a scholarship?

All prospective students in financial need, both individuals and families, are eligible to apply. Students who have not been given a scholarship to AFAN will be considered first. Applicants who have received assistance in the past may be eligible for scholarships again.
